In the spring of 2007, I won my first contest: Cupman Across America, with this video:

I spent 2 months driving cross-country in a converted ice-cream truck, dressed as a giant smoothie, filming comedy and eco-friendly interviews with green companies.

In the summer, my brother and I were selected as one of the five teams for Delta’s Siteseer Challenge thanks to this video:

We went on all-expense paid trips to Budapest, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen and Dubai where we were treated to the best of everything while they filmed us acting like doofballs. (We took our overalls with us everywhere.

Later in 2007, I won a few thousand dollars from FairVote.org with this answer to the question, “What should the Democracy of the future look like?”

In 2008, Nature Valley Granola Bar asked “What is your favorite nature place?” I made this song about Maine:

As a result, I won a 2 week cruise to Arctic Svalbard and a 3 week cruise to Antarctica on National Geographic Endeavor Cruise ship. Plus $16,000 cash to cover the taxes on the $42,000 worth of travel.

In June of 2008, I put this video together for Best Westerns “Turn your water cooler into an 80′s icon” contest:

This one was worth 1,000,000 Best Western points, a total of up to 125 free nights stays.

For the California Beef Ambassadors “More Beef in More Places” contest, I made this little rap number:

That got me an 8 gig iPod Touch.

Also in June of 2008, I made this video for Little Penguin wine:

This one got me a 7 night/6 day stay in Australia, plus travel to and from Sydney and tours of the surrounding wine country.

July 31st, 2008, I won $5,000 from ISRAEL@60 with this video:

And from the same contest, I also entered in German and won $1,000 with this video. That makes a first for me – winning in a foreign language that I don’t actually speak and have never learned:

Just won $100,000 and a trip to New York to meet with the Lonely Island guys (SNL’s Digital Short creators) for this video, filmed on location in LA, DC, NY and Arctic Svalbard

$5000 from Sundia Watermelon’s for my video, “Mr. Watermelon, Party Fruit.”

Contest win number 12, for TelecomCareers.net, this video got me and my buddy Jon Golbe (the one in it with me) all expense paid trip from NYC to Austin, Texas and VIP passes to South By Southwest Interactive.

Contest win #13, for an electric car, a wii and a salary as an employee for the game factory that never has to show up or do anything. Oh, and new business cards that read “King of Cubicles.”
