What a beautiful day it was when we arrived here in Sydney. You may notice a few things about this picture:
First, the world famous Sydney Opera House. It’s beautiful, and really looks like it does in the movies.
Second, the criminal costume with large plastic chains and leg-ball. I just want to say how proud I am that we brought that entire costume with us across half the world to basically film this one joke.
Yesterday was spent wine tasting in the Hunter Valley, which was not only beautiful, but also provided us the chance to drink somewhere around 18+ wines. I kind of lost track after 12.
Oh, and we saw Kangaroos bouncing through the vineyards, then we came back to Sydney and found a place that sells Kangaroo Pizza so we could eat them. They were delicious. Easily in my top 3 of bouncing rats for eating.
[…] P.S. The photo up top pretty much says everything you need to know about Joel: it was taken on a cruise to the Arctic (the same one on which he filmed the Polar Bear bits of the Klondike video), which he won in a Nature Valley Granola Bar contest, and he purchased and schlepped a giant penguin suit all the way up there just to stage a photo of him as the only penguin in the Arctic. I mean, how can you not love this guy?! (He also just pulled a similarly Ludacris stunt on his recent trip to Australia.) […]
